The official programme for the European Aluminium Congress 2015 (EAC) is set. The Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie e.V., Düsseldorf, (GDA) is holding the congress on 23 and 24 November 2015 in Düsseldorf on the subject of "Aluminium – Building the Future". The EAC 2015 is organised within the “D-A-CH, Allianz für Aluminium” in cooperation with the Swiss aluminium association “alu.ch” and the Austrian Non-Ferrous Metals Federation. Effective immediately, it is possible to register for the congress at the online portal at www.aluminium-congress.com.
Over two days the EAC congress "Aluminium – Building the Future" will look at the key factors for the future success of the entire aluminium added value chain.
On the first day of the congress, high-ranking representatives from the aluminium industry, the customer industries and a representative from the EU Commission will discuss future challenges for the material and the branch in two rounds of discussions.
The second day of the congress will be devoted in four sessions to the subject areas of material development, recycling and resource efficiency, future markets and processing technologies. Notable speakers from international companies will speak at all sessions of the congress and present examples from actual practice.
Der EAC-Kongress "Aluminium – Building the Future" erörtert an zwei Tagen die Schlüsselfaktoren für den zukünftigen Erfolg der gesamten Aluminium-Wertschöpfungskette.
Am ersten Kongresstag werden hochrangige Vertreter aus der Aluminiumindustrie und den Kundenindustrien sowie einem Vertreter aus der EU-Kommission in zwei Diskussionsrunden zukünftige Herausforderungen für Werkstoff und Branche diskutieren.
Der zweite Kongresstag widmet sich in vier Sessions den Themenfeldern Legierungsentwicklungen, Recycling und Ressourceneffizienz, Zukunftsmärkte und Prozesstechnologien. In allen Sessions des Kongresses informieren namhafte Referenten internationaler Unternehmen anhand von Praxisbeispielen.
Der EAC 2015 schärft den Blick für die Zukunft. Wer für heute, morgen und übermorgen entscheiden muss, sollte die Megatrends der Zukunft kennen, sollte wissen, welche Chancen und Risiken in diesen Trend liegen. Dank seiner Materialeigenschaften, der breiten Palette an Be- und Verarbeitungsmöglichkeiten sowie seiner hohen Wiederverwertbarkeit ist Aluminium der Zukunftswerkstoff, der mehr und mehr herkömmliche Materialien ersetzen kann und wird.
Die Kongresssprache ist Englisch, alle Vorträge werden simultan in die deutsche Sprache übersetzt. Eine den Kongress begleitende Ausstellung von Branchenunternehmen bietet weitergehende Informationen zu den verschiedenen Themengebieten.
The EAC 2015 will enhance awareness for the future. Anyone who makes decisions for today, tomorrow and the time after that should understand the mega-trends of the future, and should know the opportunities and risks these trends involve. Thanks to its properties, the wide range ways of working and using it, and its excellent recyclability, aluminium is the material of the future that can and will replace conventional materials more and more.
The congress will be held in English and all presentations will be simultaneously translated into German. An exhibition by branch companies will accompany the congress, offering more detailed information on the various subject areas.
The registration fee for the congress is EUR 950 plus VAT. An early-registration discount of EUR 100 is available for those who register by 1 October 2015. Anyone who registers by then will pay a registration fee of EUR 850 plus VAT.
