At BATIMAT 2015 Alcoa Architectural Products will present the first coil-coated, double-sheet aluminium panel, with the product name "Reynodual". This product consists of a coil-coated, double-sheet aluminium panel for facades that meets demanding technical, visual and environmentally-friendly requirements. With Reynodual it possible to achieve complex shapes so it can produce an attractive and creative external appearance.
Reynodual coil-coated, double-sheet aluminium panels are comprised of two sheets of aluminium which are bonded together, with a total thickness of three millimetres. It guarantees good wind resistance and satisfies the stringent requirements of the fire-protection standard EN 13501-1, class A2. This makes it highly suitable for facade projects such as high-rises, industrial buildings, public buildings, tunnels, train stations, subway stations, airports, hotels, hospitals or shopping centres.
Reynodual coil-coated, double-sheet aluminium panels comply with stringent fire-protection standards (EN 13501-1, class A2-s1-d0). In case of fire it doesn't burn and also doesn't contribute to the spread of the fire. Nor are toxic gases released – neither in case of fire nor throughout the lifespan of the product. It also shows no negative effects on the environment. Thanks to the panel thickness of three millimetres, Reynodual coil-coated, double-sheet aluminium panels are very wind resistant, so they are perfect for use on high-rises.
