Call for papers for the European Aluminium Congress 2015

GDA is organizing the European Aluminium Congress 2015 in Dusseldorf with the topic "Aluminium - Building the Future" on 23 and 24 November 2015. The GDA is organizing the EAC 2015 within the "D-A-CH Alliance for Aluminium" in close cooperation with the Swiss Aluminium Association (alu.ch) and the Austrian Non-Ferrous Metals Federation - Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO). Lectures can be submitted as of today.

The long-term success of aluminium as a material depends on new solutions and products. Mobility, conservation of resources and re-use, Industry 4.0, or New Materials are megatrends that drive future markets and that will also decisively affect the future of aluminium, the "Magic Metal". Innovations are crucial factors for future success and ensure the future viability and competitiveness of the industry. To continue to succeed in global competition, new technical developments are continuously needed. The companies involved in the entire aluminium value chain are facing the attendant challenges.

At the EAC 2015 Experts from the aluminium industry will be presenting and discussing innovative, current and visionary solutions with representatives from their client industries and from the scientific world. A technical exhibition and sponsorship opportunities round out the programme.

Interested companies and institutions are invited to participate in the call for papers. The conference language is English, the papers should be submitted in English. At this year's conference there will be simultaneous interpretation into German and English.
