A new tank system made of drawn aluminium tube for use in dust collection plants allows high pulse volumes and is corrosion resistant. The tank system incorporates tank and valve in one unit and thus reduces construction effort and installation time. The tank’s innovative aluminium profile combined with the patented clamp construction at the outlet and the aerodynamic flow geometry allow high flow rates and high volumes per pulse. It is made of anodized aluminium, so compared to welded steel tanks, corrosion is no problem.

The tanks are designed to comply with the requirements of the European pressure equipment directive 97/23/EG, module B1+D and AMSE. Regarding valve spacing and fastening angle, they can be fully adapted to up to lengths of 3 m and a maximum of 18 valves to meet the needs of customers. Integrated T-notches simplify installation of the tank systems. The connections for compressed air, condensate drain and manometer are integrated in the two end pieces.

Tank systems made of aluminium offer considerable advantages compared to welded steel tanks. In aluminium tanks there are no welding seams which can be attacked by condensate in the compressed air and lead to corrosion. Moreover, the lower weight makes handling and installation much easier. And since they don’t need to be painted, there is less likelihood of unsightly scratches during transport.
